Southern Right Whales
The Southern Right Whales have returned to our shores again. Every year these mammals return from Antarctica to the warmer ocean temperatures around the Southern Cape Peninsula to breed. From June to about October these whales may be sighted on any one our standard scenic tours. Hermanus is the most popular place to view the whales and we also offer flights catered specifically for whale watching to this area.
